Hey Everyone! This is my farewell post from Hand Crank land. We've recently been acquired by an incredible group of people (including one ex-Cranker!) who are excited to continue the Hand Crank brand and legacy! This has freed me to go on to creating my new video production management software. It has been a terrific ride for the last 14 years. Mostly, I've gotten to work with the best people in the world - production peeps - and that's been the best part. Looking forward to continuing to serve this great group of people in the software universe, making every production day an inspiring, sane, and profitable one. If you’re in video production, check out my new gig at www.videopipeline.io. To all the rest who supported us through thick and thin, thank you sooooo much!! Yours truly, Max.

Hi, thank you for excepting me here. I want to share my adventure. After weeks of Post-production and putting together my Sasquatch adventure I have The full 44 min documentary here and I hope you enjoy the beautiful scenic outdoors and my funny sense of humor around the subject of Sasquatch. I do want to say that while I was doing my investigations, they lead me to find what locals and First Nations people believe are hundreds of Sasquatch tracks in one location. It was an incredible find and to see it in person was quite interesting. So I'll leave it up to you to decide what these large footprints are.. I'm now working on a second Sasquatch adventure documentary. Let the adventure begin.
Every Monday evening Bellingham Filmpresents "Locally-Made Movie of the Week," free content produced by Whatcom and Skagit County Filmmakers for you to enjoy at home during this historic time. This week we are delighted to present the first episode in the 3 part series, KODAK COURAGE, a short documentary film by Sam Giffin of Right On Brother Films (and Mt. Baker Media House) in partnership with Hand Crank Films. This heartfelt story isn't just for skiers. Some of this beautiful, touching (and occasionally nail-biting) film was shot here in Whatcom County on Mount Baker with additional cinematography by Bellingham's Michael Dyrland of Dyrland Productions. Film and photography are a double edged sword for skiers and snowboarders. On one hand, filming pushes riders to do crazy stunts they never would have tried, and on the other, the glory can make their wildest dreams come true. KODAK COURAGE follows the story of a few brothers struggling with - and reveling in - the lifelong conflict of risk vs. reward in the professional ski and film world. Suggested rating: PG for dangerous situations. You can support the Bellingham Film community, including Sam Giffin and Michael Dyrland, by watching their films, liking their pages and subscribing to their channels. Support Whatcom Arts Project and Bellingham Film by liking/following our pages and sharing our posts. #BStrongBham
