The Long Winters, one of my favorite local bands, played Slims Last Chance last night with the stellar lineup of John Roderick, Mike Squires, Jeff Fielder, Daniel Spils, Michael Musburger, and The Longhorns. An outstanding set of original songs that ended with a beautifully sloppy cover of "Sway."
