We are so excited to share our finished website redesign project we completed for our client, Hippie Hounds Grooming, a holistic dog grooming salon in Lynnwood, WA. 💙

As a charm full of dog lovers, we had an absolute blast helping the Hippie Hounds team transform their digital presence into one that spoke to the level of patience, kindness, and tender loving care every dog receives as soon as they step into the salon. Owned and operated by a team of expert, professional groomers with over 21 years of experience, Hippie Hounds was born from the mission to raise the bar in dog grooming standards.

We took the passion behind Hippie Hounds and seeped it into every word and design element across their new and improved website. Getting to the nitty-gritty of exactly what it means to be a holistic dog grooming salon, we conveyed their differentiators in both writing and imagery. Using Hippie Hound’s vast archive of dog grooming photos and videos for the entire site, as well as creating naturalistic sketches, we built upon the existing brand.

The hand-picked and hand-drawn visual elements combined with the thoughtfully crafted messaging evoke a soothing, wellness-focused feel that’s representative of the in-person Hippie Hounds experience. As a result, we revamped the website to be authentic to the business, and the client absolutely loves it!

Colorful, Bold, and Organized — This was the driving inspiration for Sew to Speak’s website redesign, a project by creatives, for creatives.

Much more than a fabric store, Sew to Speak is a community of creative makers (that also sells fabric, yarn, and notions, while offering in-person classes!) The inclusive, welcoming space that the owners, staff, and customers have cultivated is truly one of a kind. It was our honor to create a digital space that reflected the “happy place” that is Sew to Speak’s store.

We transformed the Sew to Speak site into one that reflects the creative energy that floats throughout the shop, while showcasing the amazing staff, classes, and available products. Between organizing their massive online inventory to make shopping on their website a breeze, to creating a calendar to display in-person classes and events clearly, we prioritized a site redesign that made sense for the business, all while looking cute as a button!

Check out our new and completed brand build for Davis Law Firm! When Genevieve Davis, the owner and family law attorney of Davis Law Firm, came to us to develop her branding, she knew she wanted a design that was clean, clear, professional, and consisted only of quintessential Seattle imagery. Our charm got to work, starting with determining the brand’s color palette, with shades of blue, Genevieve’s favorite color, leading the charge.

For typography, we focused on achieving a sophisticated and scholarly look, which helped shape the logo design. In the end, we successfully brought Genevieve’s vision to life by creating classic, sharp, and easily recognizable brand guidelines.

August is National Wellness Month! ✨🌱

Although we try to prioritize self-care all year, we’re thinking even more about wellness this month and, more specifically, how we can intentionally practice healthy habits in our work life. Wellness shouldn’t just be the things you do after you clock out and return home. It should be enveloped in every aspect of your life, including your business.

These are just a few ways you can practice mindful wellness and promote it within your team — because when everyone feels balanced and healthy, productivity increases and turnover rates decline! Plus, who doesn’t love working with happy people?
