“Cumulus is proud to announce their fourth album “We’ve Got It All”, the songwriting project of Alexandra Lockhart + William Cremin. Cumulus has evolved over the years while scooping up praise from the likes of Stereogum, Interview, Consequence, PASTE, Under The Radar, KEXP, Seattle Weekly, The Stranger, and NPR Music’s All Songs Considered.

Written in between long drives and voice memos, solo walks in the woods, and writing sessions in a cozy Seattle basement practice space, We’ve Got It All is a reflection on the most important things in life that carry us through the most difficult times. It is songs inspired by childhood friendships, a hello from a neighbor, bookish escapes, winding highways, family connection, and of course, always, music.”

“Lily Minke Tahar, the creative force behind the project YEARN, emerges with her striking debut album Shapeshifter.

“Shapeshifter” embraces a lo-fi, boundaryless approach that allows the music to flow freely. Experimenting with string tunings and digital artifacts, she has unearthed unusual timbres that have become signature elements throughout the album. This raw, sketch-like production style forms the backbone of Shapeshifter, lending each track a sense of authenticity and immediacy.

Tahar’s jazz roots are also woven into the fabric of the album, with dazzling runs and articulations that surprise and delight. Shapeshifter traverses genres and moods, blending the intimate warmth of bedroom recordings with the kaleidoscopic energy of studio sessions.

“I Hope We Can Still Be Friends” by Dean Johnson

“With I Hope We Can Still Be Friends, his debut for , Dean Johnson makes a pact with the listener: He will sing you his truth in the most heartfelt and charming way possible, if you promise to keep an open mind.

I Hope We Can Still Be Friends, with its sharp observations and stirring personal insights, holds space for both intense reflection and emotional release. You may laugh, or cry or both. In this sense, the album is powerful medicine — a way to both expose yourself to and inoculate yourself against the ugly, absurd, existential and heartbreaking. At its core rests a basic truth that is often difficult to remember or accept: Happiness wouldn’t exist without sadness as its counterpart.”

Resonant’s Vinyl Pick of The Week!

Cursive Presents: The Ugly Organ
Release Date: November 24th, 2014
Recorded and Mixed at Presto! Studio
Remastered by Ed Brooks here at Resonant Mastering
Vinyl Released by Saddle Creek
Pressed by Rainbo Records

With The Ugly Organ, Cursive made a landmark album for itself and Saddle Creek. The darkest days of the Bush Era were settling in like a dense fog over the entire country, and the outlook was bleak. That made The Ugly Organ especially potent, its gloomy inward focus a natural reflection of the era… The press accolades came quickly, from the mainstream (Rolling Stone called it “a brilliant leap forward,” and Entertainment Weekly said it “raised the Saddle Creek bar”) to the niche (The A.V. Club called it “a potent piece of rock art,” Alternative Press gave it a perfect score).

Resonant’s Release of The Week!

Cory Vincent & the Electric Band Live at the Muse DVD

A film by Kevin Krick
Audio Mixed by Phil Carter + Charlie Krengel
Mastered by here at Resonant Mastering

" Founded in early 2023, The Electric Band is quickly becoming one of the "must see" bands of the greater PNW area. Their blend of hard-hitting rock riffs, soulful vocals, and catchy songwriting is reminiscent of bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden, Gov't Mule, and Rival Sons. Cory Vincent (guitar & vocals), Phil Carter (drums), and Charlie Krengel (bass) have created a fresh, yet familiar sound that is made even more powerful by the quality of their songs. If you are someone that thinks music should be experienced and not just listened to, then Cory Vincent & The Electric Band is definitely for you.
Real songs written by real people played on real instruments. "
