You know those “Hmm, what’s this one about...” moments on a streaming service? You click on something and before you know it, you’re sucked into a great story. That’s how we happened upon They Shall Not Grow Old, an amazing documentary from Peter Jackson. It features old film reels from WWI that have been painstakingly restored and colorized along with narration from WWI soldiers who take you through their personal experiences. Incredibly powerful and visually? Amazing - especially when you know how long it takes to do the work they did for this film.
