Casting!!!

Award winning duo: On The Fence Productions and Tapped House, are casting for an upcoming independent short film. Come be a part of team Blödham!

“Method” - Short Horror Film

"A struggling horror writer turns to an odd assistant for inspiration, only to find her pursuit of authenticity blurring the line between creation and obsession."

Shooting in the greater Seattle area in April and August of 2026. Dates TBD

Casting for the following lead role, opposite Stacey:

Bryan (late 20s–30s) Stacey’s boyfriend. Easygoing, and well-intentioned, but emotionally stunted and inattentive. Bryan is slowly fading into the background of Stacey’s life, and often defaults to humor, substances, and half-measures instead of any real effort. This is not a “jerk boyfriend” role. Bryan genuinely loves Stacey.

Stacey (already cast) Stacey is a sharp, driven horror writer, suffocating under creative paralysis. Intelligent, self aware, and darkly funny, she’s deeply frustrated by feeling stalled, both in her work and in how seriously she’s being taken as a writer. She wants control, validation, and momentum, and she’s tired of being told to be patient.

GARY (already cast) the odd assistant. Voice over role.
Non Union, on set meals, reels, and IMDb credit provided.
Auditions will be held via Zoom with one or more of the production staff and recorded for those that cannot attend. Please submit headshots, resume and reel to [email protected] for consideration.
