Offbeat Empire

Offbeat Empire Strategic consulting for values-driven businesses, from the founder of Offbeat Wed.

Since 2007, Offbeat Empire LLC has reached over 100 million readers through books, web publications, membership programs, downloadables, and online courses… supporting non-traditional people through traditional (and often messy) life transitions. These days, that same mix of depth, irreverence, and inclusivity powers our work with founders, leaders, and teams who need to turn complexity into clear, human-centered systems and messages. Whether we’re publishing a book, mapping an organization’s workflows, or training a team to ethically use AI more inclusively, the throughline is the same: clarity, structure, and authentic communication that scales.

*tap tap tap* is this thing on? It's been five years since I've updated this page, and WOW a lot has changed since 2020.

These days, Offbeat Empire LLC is mostly a consulting firm working with founders, leaders, and teams on everything from mindset to messaging to empathetic AI usage. You can see more about who I work with over here: offbeatempire.com/case-studies Leave a comment if you have any questions about working together!

I'm also still publishing Offbeat Wed, but it's pivoted this year to be an industry-facing publication: offbeatwed.com/b2b

For those of you who are still out there, and still using Facebook (LOL! why are any of us still here?? I blame the local freecycle group), thanks for sticking around all these years 💕

Offbeat Wed is shifting its focus to vendors. The previous structure worked for a long time, until it didn’t. What’s become clear is that the work where I feel most useful now is helping the creatives behind the weddings build businesses that actually support their lives. Let's talk about it.
