Two new segments from HFC!!
We interviewed Cheryl Stumbo -
survivor of the 2006 Jewish Federation Shooting in Seattle and citizen activist for the recently passed I-594 in Washington State.
Cheryl chronicles her journey from the events of that horrific day, her road to recovery, and ultimately how and when she was able to "raise her hand" and advocate for important gun laws in Washington State and around the country. In light of the recent passage of I-594 in Washington, the recent Marysville school shootings, and yesterday's 2nd Anniversary of Sandy Hook, Cheryl's story remains timely, powerful and important.
It was honor to meet Cheryl and to be able to share her story, and the amazing work she has been doing.
