Motion State Motion State is a group of professional MōVI Operators aspiring to create the most dynamic moving shots in the motion picture industry today.

Motion State is the world's premier stabilized camera-system operating company. We are born out of the northwest and specialize in MōVI handheld camera stabilizers, aerial stabilized platforms and ground based gimbal operations.We also specialize in a wide array of MōVI support equipment, such as wheels and pan bar controls, remote focus and video systems, follow vehicle rigging and other speciali

zed technical gear. We are on the forefront of camera movement and have our bags ready to go at any moment for any job, big or small. Our business is built on over 20 years of experience in commercial, narrative, action sports and documentary production. Our services range from MōVI camera operation to full-service production: directing, filming and editing your completed content. Our existing client roster features brands including Tesla Motors, NBC, Red Bull, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Nikon, Titleist, Marriott, Burton Snowboards, BBC, TNT, Ski Doo, Nissan and Sports Authority to name a few. Our goal is to bring the vision of our clients to life through the use of front-line cinema technologies, unrivaled experience and our determination to achieve the greatest shots possible.

After a year of dreaming, designing, building, and filming, we’re excited to finally share The Rivian Arm Car Project.

This film tells the story behind the first factory-built arm car and the incredible team that came together to make it happen. It’s a project built on collaboration, trust, and a shared desire to keep pushing what’s possible in filmmaking.

A massive thank you to everyone who gave their time, talent, and belief to this project. From the engineers, designers, fabricators, filmmakers, and crew, to every person who helped solve problems, share ideas, and bring this vision to life—this film belongs to all of you. It was a true team effort, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part.

A special thank you to COLBY BRICKWELL who poured his heart into this film over the past year. It has been such a joy watching you grow as a filmmaker and storyteller. We’re incredibly proud of the care, creativity, and countless hours you invested into bringing this story to life. Thank you for believing in this project and seeing it through to the finish line.

We rolled into Montana… and after a few snow dances, the snow showed up that night.
Grateful for the landscape, the timing, and the incredible local crew who helped bring this one to life.

It was such a pleasure working with and the whole Rivian team to help bring this heartwarming project to life. We helped the team out with the running & aerial footage utilizing the stunning topography of some of our favorite central Washington locations. Pretty awesome we get to be the grown up versions of these young kids in the film and continue to live out our dreams making awesome films with amazing people!
