A full circle moment for Dare to Dream Scholarship. A Seaplane tour of Seattle with 2022 Dare to Dream Scholarship recipient Jenna Breen who used her scholarship to obtain her Commercial Pilot Certificate in Seaplanes. Jenna, thanks for the wonderful tour! Great job!!

A belated post.... a pleasure to present the Dare to Dream Scholarship to Alyssa Harvey at the Women in Aviation Conference in Orlando (early March). She will use her $3000 award for her Multi-Engine rating. The other recipient, Helena Lind, was unable to attend so her award will be sent directly to her flight school for her Instrument flight training. In 8 years, this program has awarded over $41,000 worth of aviation education funding and helped 13 women advance in their aviation careers.

Dare to Dream Scholarship fundraising complete for 2016. Enough funds raised to give 2 $3,000 flight training scholarships next March at the Women in Aviation Conference in Florida!! WOOHOO!!! THANK YOU ALL WHO MADE TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATIONS!!! Anyone wishing to apply for flight training scholarships, check out the Women In Aviation International website- application deadline is Nov. 16th.
