Today the Lights for the head were installed furthering the weening from the shore power connection.

There is still a few polishing touches like managing the cables and such and removing the original lighting fixture but these LED lights are looking good in the head.

So much work has happened that there has been very little time to post. That and the iPhone camera is acting up.

Here is a collage of pics from the past 3 months. Included is the bottom paint, the battery bank, galley lights, navigation station (with lighting!) ventilation fans for the battery bank and some screen shots of the two apps we use for monitoring the electrical system. The Battle Born Batteries app and the Victron Connect app.

Not pictured (yet) is the first cabin fan which was much needed today, the port side bus bars for the port side lighting, the Simrad GPS, the grounding plate and the lightning rod.

Yesterday we mounted the equipment in place. Today we did part of the wiring.

After adding a lightning rod, grounding plate and some much needed bottom paint (up to the waterline) OS is back home and undergoing electrical work consisting of all new DC 12 and 24 Volt systems powered by solar and wind.

Here the new active ventilation has been added which will keep the battery bank and electrical components dry and cool. Also pictured is battery 5 and 6 and the solar charge controller.

It seems to have thrned out alright Now the only thing left to do is mount the panels on the already assembled frame once OS makes her return.

Most dreaded project complete!
