Seattle Wrote

Seattle Wrote Featuring Seattle's authors and writers. http://www.seattlewrote.com

SeattleWrote features the stories and thoughts of local Seattle authors and writers, as well as providing all writers with a compilation of tips, resources, opportunities, and news in the larger literary world. Edited by Norelle Done:

After graduating from Seattle Pacific University in 2009, Norelle's hopes to be a journalist and a novelist were met by adversity when the Seattle PI stopped print

ing, and the recession resulted in little to no writing jobs. Not one to let little things like not getting paid for it get in the way of passion, Norelle started SeattleWrote in the summer of 2010. The goal was simply to keep her journalistic skills sharp, while writing about something she loved: books and their creators. She quickly became infused in, and loved by, the vibrant writers' sub-culture of one of the most literate cities in the United States. SeattleWrote today has an active readership of over 7,000 people who enjoy the personal stories of Seattle Authors. Norelle hopes that SeattleWrote will continue to grow to serve as a reflection of this sub-culture as well as inspire both published authors and closeted scribblers alike.
