Emery Christianson lining up on the KX450F, backed by Barn Pros and a true privateer program—Scott Goggles, Acerbis, Asterisk, G2 Ergonomics, Fusion Graphics, Dr. D Exhaust, and Pro Posse.
2009—Arenacross Champion, and in that same year stepping onto the AMA Pro Motocross line.
Then again in 2010, after stepping away, lining back up to do it one more time.
No factory rig, no shortcuts—just long drives, gate drops, and earning every inch.
Looking back now… this was one of the last times he truly rode at that level.
You don’t think about it then—you just twist the throttle.

Today is Seattle Supercross, and it takes me back to 2008.

Kenny Webster and I showed up to the big stage — Monster Energy AMA Supercross in Seattle. No fluff. Just grit, nerves, and a gate drop.

And then Kenny ripped the holeshot in the heat race… over Ryan Dungey.

Let that sink in.

Packed stadium. Factory talent on the line. And Kenny comes out of the gate first.

That’s racing. That’s belief. That’s why you line up.

Moments like that don’t leave you. They remind you that on any given night, if you commit and twist the throttle, anything can happen.

Seattle always meant something.
