Seattle Line Dance Club 945 First Friday dance party! 🎉 thank you to everyone who came out to dance with us. It’s so fun seeing all the communities come together.
Diana’s group, Kaeti’s group, Karla’s group, Joe’s group…I love seeing all the dances you request and know.
Thank you for bringing your dance families to Seattle Line Dance to be part of ours.
Next month will be our 1 year birthday, I hope you come out to celebrate with us.

🚨 Now for some news and updates 🚨
Social Dance Price Increase:
Our 1 year anniversary will be the last dance party where the entry fee is only $5 if you pre-register online or pay $10 at the door.
Starting in June we will be raising our door/entry fee to $10 pre-register online or $15 at the door.
Long story short: our rent went up for year 2 and we’ve never even made a profit yet, ever. (Hows that for business transparency?)
Music Changes: Requests/Voting/Rules
In the past when there were fewer guests, I could play all your requests, it’s not feasible anymore.
Because we have more people attending now and way more requests than allotted time we will have newly introduced and enforced rules for socials going forward.
1. If there are less than 4 people dancing on floor, the song will advance at the conclusion of first chorus so you can get (hopefully) at least a couple of walls in.
2. At the end of the night if there are still requests to be played, we may pre-vote on who plans to dance or knows dance, to remove songs from playlist.
3. Request submission period will be before event and no longer taken during event.

You may UpVote songs in the YouTube playlist. Songs with most votes will be played.
5. If you send me a list of requests, they should be prioritized by order of importance. Please don’t send me more than 5 songs let's keep it fair for everyone.
6. Requests are requests, not guarantees. Just because you send an entire list or page, know ahead of time that they may not all make the final playlist.
7. To accommodate different variations we may need to do split floors from time to time.
These changes are becoming necessary to accommodate growing numbers of requests and all the different dances people know and learn elsewhere.
I understand some changes might be disappointing for some folks. I sincerely hope the change won’t keep you away though. 💕
