Manila is a mega city with 16 highly urbanized cities. It is known for its remnants of Spanish colonial architecture, including churches and forts that can be seen in the ruins of Intramuros. It came from the words May, which means "there is", and Nila, which refers to a type of flower. It became the capital of the Philippine Islands in 1595. Philippine jeepney were originally made from US military jeeps that were left over from World War II. Currently, they are a means of public transportation in the country and has become an icon in Philippine culture. Binondo district, which is found in Manila, is the oldest Chinatown in the world dating 1590. You can enjoy traditional Chinese cuisine and experience a unique blend of Filipino and Chinese cultures. It is also home to the oldest University in Asia founded in 1611, and home to a man made beach next to US embassy. Here are my fave places to chill:

The Las Vegas Strip is the brightest place on Earth. NASA quoted that the city's bright lights can be seen from space. It is the Entertainment Capital of the World and the Wedding Capital of the world, holding 300 weddings daily. Las Vegas is a Foodie Heaven - from countless all-you-can-eat buffets, to Michelin Star restaurants! “Las Vegas” means “the meadows” due to water found in underground artesian wells. The City used to be a modest railroad stop connecting L.A. and Salt Lake City. This strategic location attracted settlers and businesses, giving birth to a small town that evolved into the iconic Las Vegas we know today. Cody and I had the opportunity to tie the knot in this bright and famous City.

West Seattle was incorporated as an independent town in 1902 before being annexed by Seattle in 1907. Among the area's attractions are its saltwater beach parks along Elliott Bay and Puget Sound, including Alki Beach Park and Lincoln Park. I remember living a couple of blocks away from The Junction - a shopping area with many independent retailers. In my opinion, West Seattle is the best part of Seattle to live in 🏡 Here's to a memory I left in the heart of West Seattle ❤️💃
