Kozmo Kitchen’s beloved Onigiri (Omusubi) workshops are almost full—but there’s still time to snag a spot in July! After selling out classes in May and June, this hands-on cooking series returns for its final month at the Phinney Center, with options for both adults and parent/kid pairs.

Learn how to shape, fill, and wrap traditional Japanese rice balls just like a pro—then enjoy your creations with a warm bowl of seasonal miso soup.

🎤 The Youth Open Mic is back at Ballard SeafoodFest—part of the ILS Kids Deck at the Ballard Library. Whether it’s singing, dancing, or yo-yo tricks, kids and tweens are invited to take the stage on Sunday, July 13 from 2–4pm (check-in by 1:30pm).

Hold onto your hops—Jurassic Pints is coming.

The PNA Summer Beer Taste returns Saturday, July 12 from 4–7 pm with a prehistoric twist. This Jurassic Park-themed beer festival features over 25 local breweries and cideries, all pouring for a great cause.

Now in its 20th year, this beloved event brings together neighbors, brewers, and beer lovers for an afternoon of craft tasting and community connection.

All proceeds support the Phinney Neighborhood Association’s programs and services.
