Hassanamisco Tribe of the Nipmuc People

Ohômous Nůt Annókinám
(Painting Owl)
The name given to him by his people.

This is more than an introduction.
It’s identity. It’s lineage. It’s respect.

COMING SOON ON THE TABLE 18 PODCAST W/CUTTY AND DAMON..

Be careful where you take advice from.

Not everybody talking is qualified.
Not everybody with a mic has lived it.
And not every “free gem” is actually a gem.

Damon breaks down how real game usually isn’t screaming for attention.
It’s not begging to be reposted.
It’s not packaged as outrage or hustle p**n.

Most solid advice?
It’s either earned through proximity…
Or it’s paid for.

We even use Bay Area legend E-40 as the example. He’ll do interviews all day. He’ll laugh, tell stories, promote projects. But notice something… he rarely hands out the blueprint for free. The business strategy. The real game. The mechanics. That lives in the music. That’s on the albums. That’s what you pay for.

There’s a reason for that.

If someone is constantly flooding the internet with “how to win” advice… ask yourself what they’re really selling.

Attention?
Validation?
Or something else?

Discernment is power.

Episode coming in March..

Coming Soon On The Table 18 Podcast w/ Cutty and Damon
In this clip:
We’re taking aim at the “sell yourself as an adult” culture.

The one where you reduce your entire existence to an elevator speech.
What do you do?
What’s your title?
How do you monetize your time?

We’ve condensed our worth into what pays the rent.
Not who we are.
Not what we love.
Not what we’re building when nobody is watching.

Always networking.
Always optimizing.
Always ready to pitch ourselves to the next “adult” willing to buy.

But what happens when your identity is bigger than your LinkedIn bio?
What happens when your meaning doesn’t translate into a salary band?

We’re talking about the pressure to brand yourself.
The quiet grief of abandoning the parts of you that don’t scale.
And how to reclaim a life that’s about more than professional bullet points.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re performing adulthood instead of living it,
this one’s for you.

COMING SOON ON THE TABLE 18 PODCAST w/ CUTTY AND DAMON!

Years ago my wife pulled me up and told me my energy was violent and I needed to fix it..

Not that I was yelling.
Not that I was threatening.
Just that I felt like a contained nuclear explosion walking through the room.

And my first instinct?
Defend.
Explain.
Minimize.

“I’m not even mad.”
“I didn’t do anything.”
“You’re overreacting.”

But here’s the thing…

Intent doesn’t override impact.

I’ve lived a life where intensity kept me alive.
Where being the biggest presence in the room meant survival.
That wiring doesn’t just disappear because you decide to be better.

But it’s my job to notice it.
It’s my job to own it.
It’s my job to regulate it.

Walking around charged up, jaw tight, voice sharp, energy buzzing like something might pop off at any second…
That’s not leadership.
That’s not protection.
That’s unprocessed voltage.

So instead of getting defensive, I looked at it.
Sat with it.
Asked why I still carry that heat in safe spaces.

Growth isn’t about pretending you’re soft.
It’s about learning when you don’t need to be hard.

You don’t get to call yourself evolved if everyone around you feels braced.

That’s what I’m working on and will be for the rest of my life..
Lowering the temperature.
Choosing presence over pressure.
Strength without threat.

Because the people I love shouldn’t feel like they’re standing next to a bomb that swears it won’t go off.

TABLE 18 PODCAST w/ CUTTY AND DAMON

This clip is from our sit-down with Jeff “Pilot” Rousey.

Jeff did 27 years and 10 months for murder over a drug debt.
Built a business while incarcerated.
Came home and never looked back.
Now runs five thriving businesses.

In this moment, we talk about something most people only whisper about. The reality of dealing with child molesters inside the penitentiary.
Jeff details the incident that got him put in IMU which ultimately led to his growth and change to a better man.
No glamor.
No chest thumping.
Just the raw truth about prison codes, moral lines, violence, restraint, and what it actually costs a man to live inside that world.

It’s gritty.
It’s uncomfortable.
It’s real.

This isn’t about celebrating brutality.
It’s about understanding the environment.
And the psychology of surviving it.
