In a move that would make the Soup N**i proud, the City of Sebring has essentially declared:

“No Golf Course for You!”

By a 3–1 vote, the City Council chose not to negotiate a lease agreement with the Blackmon family, despite the Blackmon's being the selected respondent through the City's own RFP process. Instead, the City has opted to start over and re-solicit proposals for the municipal golf course.

If you're confused, don't worry—you aren't alone. From the outside looking in, this saga has more twists than a Seinfeld episode and fewer clear answers than a game of municipal golf.

The Boys have reached out to the Blackmon family and will have them on the show to help explain what happened, what didn't happen, and why everyone seems to have a different version of the story.

Stay tuned... because this one is definitely not a hole-in-one. ⛳️🤣

Maybe they will also have an update on Harder Hall and the Horseshoe Bank Building????????

We hate to say it but we have to say it...It's officially Hurricane Season and the boys will have a full hour with guests talking about this weekend's Hurricane Expo. In addition to just talk, the dudes will both be present at Satruday's Hurricane Expo to asnwer questions and share how the Highlands Radio Group will keep you informed in case of an emergency!

Speaking about hurricanes, there's been one running through local meetings and the State Legislature. The dudes will be chatting about both local and State topics in the second hour. Will the City of Sebring ever sign a lease on the golf course (place is getting run into the ground lately based on patrons' feedback), how long is long for a County Board Meeting and what are the thoughts on Governor Desantis' property tax referendum?!?!

Dan is out of town tomorrow,and we've got newly-elected Sebring City Councilman David Leidel himself pinch-hitting while Dan catches a few Red Sox games up in Boston. Well, we've got a LOT to catch up on with David tomorrow........and he Swears that he's going to elevate the show a notch or two, which admittedly won't be too hard for him to do!

We'll DEFINITELY talk about the recent Sebring City Council and where things stand with the golf course lease with the Blackmon family and other items from the meeting. We'll also talk about the BOCC meeting and the coming impact fee discussion....are you FOR or against any proposed impact fees?
