Who knows where the Dudes will wander off to this week.... although we are sure they will touch on the continuing drama in AP as excitement builds in the hopes that the Brickell report given to the AP Council on Monday the 6th will finally bring light to what has otherwise been a shady set of circumstances!

As we prepared to remember those who lost their lives on 9/11, we were all slapped in the face with an ugly dose of reality that while some things have changed, unfortunately some things have stayed the same or even become worse. With the horrific death of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk in Utah, the senseless stabbing death of Iryna Zarutska in Charlotte and another school shooting (praise the Lord, no fatalities) the time is ling overdue for a deep discussion on these (and other) senseless acts, what seems to prompt them and how we might begin to move forward a bit more united as a nation.tion

This Friday, Dan will be OUT.....touring the world, or something like that. Though he'll be missed terribly by millions, Don has somehow managed to put together a terrific show in his absence.

Trying to fill Dan's enormous sandals will be none other than JC Shoop! JC has promised to keep it local, fun and entertaining....so, this should be a blast watching him try to answer the phones. We apologize to ALL callers ahead of time 🤣

For guests, Don lined up BOTH Highlands County Administrator Laurie Hurner AND Director of Development Services Leah Sauls! Thankfully, unlike his co-host, JC Shoop is an expert in county operations and knows ALL of the questions to ask!

Laurie and Leah will chat about the county budget, where we are in that process, trash, roads, new development, upcoming projects, recreation, code enforcement, the big ongoing impact fee study, weird county commissioners (especially the tall one), and SO much more.......PLUS, they want to answer YOUR questions too!
