Greetings Ms. Linda Haury, as a brief introduction, we are a bilingual podcast (Spanish and English) that just launched this year. One of our new programs is a one-hour segment called "The Voice of Florida: Justice and Conscience." For this, we would like to invite the Honorable Judge William W. Haury, Jr., for a video interview. Specifically, we discuss the evictions of vulnerable seniors during the conversion of Oasis Living Quarters into Waterview Rental in Fort Lauderdale.
In this case, Broward County Judge William W. Haury, Jr., ordered a halt to the evictions on April 2. Attorneys representing Oasis Living Quarters wanted him to overturn the order. Comras's aunt, Rema Comras, is the plaintiff in the civil lawsuit filed on March 19. She moved to Oasis Living Quarters after her husband died in 2021. Comras said the evictions were carried out without written notice, a claim Oasis disputed when attorneys submitted a lease termination letter dated January.
If you, Ms. Haury, or the Honorable Judge Haury, would like to do this interview, please contact producer Mr. Humphrey at 904-576-0996. Or via the contact form on the Web Podcast homepage: Thank you very much.https://www.lagrandepodcast.com/
