Save this for your trip to Paris 🇫🇷🌱

Being vegan doesn’t have to mean relying on heavily processed foods or fake meat. For us, it’s about being fully aware of what we’re consuming - choosing fresh, plant-based, natural ingredients as much as possible.

So when we’re travelling, we’re also actively researching and discovering new cuisines, creative dishes, traditional recipes that align with this way of eating. 🌿🍲

Here’s a list of vegan (or offering vegan options) restaurants and cafés in Paris that we tried and absolutely loved:
✨️ Maslow restaurants
✨️ Land&Monkeys Boulangerie Pâtisserie Végétale
✨️
✨️ ✹ Le Pavillon des Canaux ✹
✨️ Café Studio
✨️ JAH JAH 🌍 LE TRICYCLE
✨️ David Valentin

Have you been to any of these?

When I turned vegan 10 years ago, I wish I’d VeganDay in my life - my Sundays would’ve looked very different!😄

Back then, my only day off was spent making plant milk from scratch. Then yogurt from it. Sometimes, cheese. But every week, all over again.🥛🔁

It’s not like I regret any of it. Those long Sundays def taught me the art of fermentation. They even taught me to read labels, question my habits, and understand the reality of the dairy industry.

There were people who understood my way of living and respected my choices. But there were also people who called me a maniac. However, today when I look back at my journey, I realise it’s made me a better person, a compassionate one. I’m more intentional about the choices I make.

It also makes me happy to see brands like VeganDay making this lifestyle so much easier than it was when I started. I absolutely appreciate what they are doing - making healthy, plant-based alternatives available at a price people can actually afford.

❌No artificial preservatives.
❌No added sugar.
❌No hormones.

All you have to do is add water and blend the paste that comes in small lightweight sachets. You can boil it, freeze it, and use it for your coffees, teas, milkshakes, and so on..

Have you tried VeganDay’s milk?

Have you seen this side of Greece?🇬🇷

It’s my 2nd time travelling around this region, and there’s still so much to learn and explore here. One moment, I’m hiking the Arcadian Highlands, and the next moment I’m kayaking in the cerulean waters of the Mediterranean Sea. 🌊🛶

I’ve stayed in traditional mountain villages where the population doesn’t exceed 200. I’ve cycled along the coastline with local cyclists who shared beautiful stories of their region. I’ve been served the most delicious regional food, often cooked just for me. As a vegan, it was such a joy.🥹❣️

This is Peloponnese - rarely talked about, but such an incredible place that continues to offer diverse, authentic experiences to travellers. And it doesn’t give you all of this at once. It asks you to return. Again and again. And each time, it shows you a different side of itself.💚

i'm travelling solo for the first time since my wedding more than 3 years ago. 😶😶

throughout my life, I’ve grown up hearing how a woman must let go of her personal ambitions post marriage. “One last time enjoy your bachelorette,” they said. “You won’t get this freedom again.”

I honestly never understood this concept of living your life fully before your wedding cz apparently then your hands get tied. And even today, women (&men!) fear committing to a long-term relationship owing to such beliefs.

So when we decided to live this life together, we knew we wanted to intentionally craft a life that felt like an extension of both of our values. I should get the freedom to chase my dreams while he should be able to explore his own passions, irrespective of the stage of our lives we are in. ❣️💫

Of course, I want to travel the world WITH him. But sometimes, when there's a need to travel alone, no prejudices stand in my way. Cuz our marriage is a marriage of shared values, beyond ALL else. 🥰🤍

So today when I’m heading on my first international solo trip, I cannot be more proud of the woman I’ve become because of the person who I’ve chosen to be with.💁‍♀️💁

Here’s our FINAL episode of our mini eco-series ‘Wildly Sensitised,’ where we share stories from the wild. 🦋🌴

More than anything, this series has taught us to be more aware of the changes in our environment - to speak more openly about the climate crisis, and to think/talk/share more about wildlife loss and its ripple effects on our food systems and the world we all depend on. 🌿

The many hours that went into researching, recollecting, and compiling all anecdotes into a storytelling series was intense but fulfilling. Overall, it encouraged us to become mindful of our small actions that can have a big impact on our beautiful, fragile Earth. 🌍💚

We truly hope this series triggered in you some form of sensitivity for the changing wild - whether new insights or a gentle reminder of what already matters. And we urge you to think about the animals we share this world with.

It’s their home too… and it always has been... 🐅🐬

this “10 countries in 10 days” mindset for travelling in Europe is honestly killing the joy of experiencing this big, diverse, beautiful continent.

We’ve been living in Europe for the last 7 years & can confidently say- please don’t fall for these kind of trips. Europe is HUGGGGE & it’s not a single cultural experience. It’s as diverse as Asia.
Living in Germany feels completely different from living in Romania, Spain, or Italy. And the countries you choose to explore should be completely YOUR PERSONAL choice, & no tour operator’s or agency’s.

If you want to travel mindfully and actually make the most of your Euro trip, here are 3 simple tips (Part 1):

📍Choose 1 or max 2 countries at a time

we understand getting Schengen visa can be quite challenging, and so you may be tempted to cover as much and as many countries as possible. But hear us out here, 10 countries stamps on your passport mean absolutely nothing compared to slow, conscious 10 days in just 1 or 2 destinations. Get to know them well, immerse yourself in local activities, culture, history, get to know people and return with a bag full of memories for a lifetime than simply touching the city centres, entering 1000 cathedrals and museums and coming back home with nothing but STAMPS & BILLS.

🥗 Try local food

Gone are the days when veg options were hard to find. Europe has evolved so much. Veggie and vegan food is available almost everywhere now. We’ve been vegan for 10 years and have enjoyed amazing versions of French dishes, German classics, and Mediterranean cuisine. It’s all possible.

🚂 Take at least a few train journeys

Train travel here is something special. The views are beautiful, yes, but more than that, it gives you a chance to connect with people. In Greece, we once met a 75-year-old man on a regional train and ended up talking about religion, food, gardening, family, and so many things that helped us see the country through his eyes!

Remember how your parents used to be extremely paranoid about what you might end up swallowing when you were a kid? But here’s what albatross parents are doing - unknowingly.

For a long time now, in the Pacific Ocean, albatrosses have been mistaking floating plastic waste for food. They gulp it, bring it back to their nests and feed it to their hungry chicks. 🐣

Adult birds regurgitate stuff like bottle caps and toothbrushes directly into their chicks mouths. Since chicks cannot regurgitate, all the plastic stays inside them, filling their stomachs. They feel full, but they are actually starving. 🪥

How does this plastic even get out there? Everything we throw eventually finds its way to the ocean. Trash from streets and cities is washed into rivers by rain. Rivers carry it out to sea. Plastic is also left on beaches or discarded from ships. Over time, these break into smaller pieces, but they never disappear. While plastic consumption by albatrosses is documented, nobody knows how many creatures in the sea end up doing the same too. 🌊

The blood of this silent, miserable death of one of the world's most iconic birds is on our hands.

Does reading this change your relationship with plastic?🧴

She’s used to being stared at everywhere she goes.
She’s used to adjusting her clothes in public spaces.
She’s used to looking over her shoulder to make sure no one’s following her.
She’s used to leaving places earlier than she wants to.
She’s used to holding back the simple urge
to lie in the grass,
to read a book in the sun,
to exist freely...

But in the end…

She doesn’t want to be “careful.”
She doesn’t want to be “aware.”
She doesn’t want to be “used to it.”

she just wants to BE FREE… 🌻🦋

Do you feel truly free and safe being alone in public spaces?

From the lands of the Jungle Book🐯🌳

Visiting protected forests were always one of my dreams and I more than realized this when I took charge of an architectural project right on the fringes of Kanha Tiger Reserve in MP, India. 🐅🌿

At first, I only saw the beauty - the forest air, the wildlife, the charm of traditional mud architecture in the villages. But over time, I started noticing something deeper.

Life around the forest is not always easy. In these villages, people still live extremely close to wildlife, where conflicts with predators are REAL, and more often than not - deadly. 🩸

But what stayed with me is how things are changing. Because of Project Tiger's approach to conservation, that 'Tiger landscapes are social landscapes', I’ve seen how local communities are now part of the story - not pushed out of it. Most locals here are guides, drivers, naturalists, chefs - on the one hand supporting eco-tourismin the region… but also becoming protectors of the forest they live beside. 💂‍♀️🌳💂‍♂️

Kanha showed me that conservation doesn’t always mean keeping humans out. It can also mean bringing people in, in the right way.🤝

And maybe that’s why this place feels so special to me. 🐯👨

Walruses depend on sea ice for everything - to rest, to find food, to breed and also to stay safe. But as ocean temperatures rise, the ice melts earlier and forms later each year. 🧊

Without enough ice, walruses are forced onto crowded land areas, where they can become stressed, injured, or even die during stampedes. Longer swims also make it harder for them to find food, especially for young walruses.

Climate change is changing their entire way of life—and they are one of the many life forms in the Arctic which have nowhere else to go.
