In esoteric science it is based on “like attracts like" meaning the sincere seeker who is actively engaged in esoteric self-work will “attract” that which will help the infinite
souls evolution based on its
*current level of being*

with the aim of union with the Divine - a profound soul self-realization.
“Ask and You Shall Receive”
This phrase is in direct relation to esoteric knowledge, truth, assistance, occult [hidden] secrets that can help the seeker on the path.
Provided only if they are committed and sincerely asking in prayer or aspiration without demands or expectation for a particular outcome.
This is not a “thing” such as a job, money, relationship, etc. It will not be based on the wounded ego’s cravings or socially rooted and conditioned desires.
Specifically what will be given or attracted is not up to the askers ego but relates to his soul contracts and karmic lessons.
It includes positive spiritual experiences & positive guidance, such as the serendipitous arrival of a teacher, discovery of new literature, or uncovering a path to study."
