This afternoon, we have a home inspection and appraisal, so we will need to be out of the house for several hours. I am feeling good about the inspection, and since our home's price is based on comparable properties in the area, the appraisal should be in line. On July 5th, we will move 99 percent of our remaining furniture to storage, and then we will move to our Airbnb a few days later. It is incredible that this idea came up about a year ago, and now we are finalizing the last 200 items on our to-do list. I am excited to be closer to family and old friends, and to have my kids nearby - it has been since our wedding in November 2019 that I have seen them in person. When some of you ask how I could move to a poorly educated red state, this is why. I have many friends and relatives who disagree with me on religious and political issues, and that is okay - it just means I will need to tone down my posts a bit, and I look forward to seeing them all again.
