It has been a long time coming, but March 2, 2020 will finally see the publication of Tampa Bay Music Roots, the new book authored by Keith Wilkins and Charlie Souza! Over 120 photos... countless bands and artists covering the late 1800's - 2010's. Look for it in Barnes and Noble bookstores and anywhere else that has good taste in music history books!

Keith Wilkins and Charlie Souza of the Tampa Bay Music Scene Historical Society are co-authoring the up-coming book, "Tampa Bay Rock 'n' Roll Roots," which will be published by Arcadia Publishing. The book will be about the history of the Tampa Bay rock scene, and the artists who got their start here. the book will also feature a forward written by talk show host Tedd Webb.

We are looking for high-resolution photos, along with stories of original Tampa Bay bands from the 1950's - 1990's. Help preserve Tampa Bays rich musical history by submitting your photos and stories!

WOW!!!! What an awesome show we have planned for this months Screwie Louie's Original Scene!" This is a very special show that you want want to miss! We have performances by 75 South, Koncrete Kite (who have recently celebrated their 20 years together with the release of their newest album), Ragged Old Souls, Earl Foote, and Rebecca Field. We will also be conducting a clothing drive at the show for the "Cloths for Kids" charity, which provides free clothing to school kids of low income family's. There will also be a special presentation made by the Tampa Bay Music Scene Historical Society at the show as well. Don't miss this show... Sunday, August 16th.
