Two years ago, just like it happened to Slobo, a swarm arrived. For a long time, our nephew was terrified of them. But seeing that swarm completely changed everything, it made him lose his fear and finally see the true magic of bees.
He bravely put on a suit, experienced beekeeping firsthand, and started coming out to the farm to learn directly from them. Today, he has become a fundamental part of what we do.
Watching him grow has been so bittersweet, he is officially heading to middle school now! We are incredibly proud of him and hope that one day, he will carry on as the next generation of beekeepers in our family. 🐝

Help C**t Haines Represent Our Community at the USA Football Select Bowl 2026! 🏈🇺🇸

Anyone who knows C**t knows that football isn’t just a game to him, it’s his absolute passion. He has dedicated countless hours to training, poured his heart out on the field, and given 100% at every single tournament.

Today, all that hard work and grit have paid off in the biggest way possible: C**t has been scouted by USA Football to represent our country! 🎉

Earning a spot at the USA Football Select Bowl is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a massive dream come true. It’s also an immense source of pride for our entire community. Seeing one of our own local athletes rise to a national stage reminds us all of what is possible with dedication.

However, getting him there is a team effort. To make this unforgettable experience a reality, we need to cover significant expenses, including travel costs, hotel accommodations, and participation fees. As a family, we are doing everything we can, but we need our community's help to cross the finish line.

Supporting local talent means investing in the future of our youth. No contribution is too small. Every dollar donated, every share, and every word of encouragement brings C**t one step closer to that national field.

A full apiary inspection day here in St. Pete! 🐝Apiculture isn’t always easy, we did lose a couple of colonies, which breaks our hearts, but the rest are growing incredibly strong. We even found some of our queens crushing it with beautiful brood patterns, making it the perfect time to upgrade their homes into bigger boxes!. Watching a colony thrive and giving them room to expand is the ultimate reward.

Let’s talk about the beautiful side of nature. Look at these breathtaking apiaries and see how our hives right here in Pinellas County are transforming into strong, magnificent colonies. Many of these are rescues, and knowing we gave them a second chance fills our hearts with pride. While some of our hives have grown beyond our wildest dreams, others, unfortunately, didn’t make it. Yet, nature is profoundly wise. More than 90% of our hives are growing incredibly strong and beautiful, fully prepared for the summer season and the vibrant wildflower bloom. Get ready, because a spectacular new wildflower honey harvest is on its way!
