Theme: The Commissioning

New month. New post. Report to the wall.

First, family, a word about the book. You marked today's date with me, and I don't take that lightly. As I prepared to release THE HIDDEN ROOTS, the Lord said not yet; there's more. So I went back beneath the surface one more time. What was coming as one book is now becoming a bundle, arriving Labor Day weekend. A double portion is worth a few more weeks. Be Seen ~ You Are Not Forgotten

There is a particular kind of pain that doesn’t come from being rejected; it comes from being unseen. It’s the kind of pain that settles in quietly, the kind that doesn’t always have a clear moment you can point back to.
It shows up when you are present yet somehow overlooked. When you are giving and not acknowledged. When you keep showing up, doing what you know you were called to do, and still feel like you don’t exist in the room.
And if you’ve ever felt that not just once, but repeatedly, you begin to adjust. You don’t even realize it at first, but slowly,
You start to shrink.
You silence parts of yourself.
You hold back what once came naturally.
You become less
We do these things, you agree, but because you have a sense of belonging and you fear rejection or abandonment.
But let me shift your perspective for a moment, because this is where truth begins to break through the pain.
What if you were never invisible? What if the issue was never that you weren’t seen, but that you were in environments that didn’t have the capacity to recognize you? There is a difference, and it is a life-changing one. Because if you don’t understand that difference, you will spend your life trying to earn visibility, trying to prove your worth, trying to be acknowledged, when the truth is, you were already seen from the very beginning. ❤️

We wonder why our healing feels slow. We wonder why deliverance seems to take longer than we expected. But we cannot prune the branches while ignoring the root. We cannot build a life of peace on a foundation of hidden pain.

Deliverance is not only rescue, sometimes it’s preventive care. 🛡️

Before the storm hits, deal with the leaning tree.

Before the breakdown, address the root.

Before the destruction, discern the danger.

“Discern the danger before the destruction.” — Ecclesiastes 10:9

Today’s decree: I bind every oppressing spirit, I halt its progress, and I give the Holy Spirit authority to uproot what is leaning in my life.

Pray. Decree. Uproot what is leaning.

For seven years, God carried a revelation inside Prophetess Kelly Jennings. Then a yard project changed everything.

My husband and I decided to cut down four trees on our property , two in the front yard, two on the side of the house. What looked like a simple landscaping decision became one of the most profound deliverance revelations God has ever walked me through.

The two trees in our front yard had been there for eighteen years. They grew tall, mature, and strong. That larger tree gave shade to the Hostas in our flower bed - plants that thrive in shaded places. In that season, the tree served a real purpose. It protected what grew beneath it.

But while the tree gave shade, the grass around it struggled to grow. Weeds kept returning. The roots had taken over so much ground that the lawn could not flourish the way we envisioned.
God spoke immediately: some things in our lives served a real purpose in one season. They gave us shade. They protected us. They helped us survive.

But when they remain too long, they begin to block what God wants to grow next. Some patterns protected us before they imprisoned us. Some coping mechanisms shaded us before they stunted us.

Proverbs 4:23 says to keep the heart with all diligence because the issues of life flow from it. Every issue above the surface traces back to a root growing beneath it.

You pray about the fruit. God wants to address the root.
