Been helping feed the homeless. I have too many clothes. Instead of dropping off at a resale store. I just hand them out to those who need them the most.♡

Port Angeles, Wash. - Many agencies, businesses, and service clubs in the Port Angeles community are partnering to host the annual Back to School Event for Port Angeles families in need on Saturday, August 20, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Elementary, 218 East Twelfth Street.

A woman in Port Angeles had an idea to spread happiness. Now we have Port Angeles Rocks!!! People paint on rocks and hide them. The person who finds them, posts a picture of the rock on Face Book. It is something, the messages and pictures of these rocks give everyone a lift. These rocks have been found by tourists who take them back to their home town. Now the rocks have spawned new rock painting groups across the USA and to other countries!! 😃

Here is a good opportunity to be kind and have loads of fun.!! 😄 The Northwest Raptor and Wildlife Center is having a fundraiser party. Music, food, dancing, auction, a chance to see wild birds up close!! Monday August 8th 5:30pm to 9:00pm. Contact the Center for more information.

I decided about a month ago to start a vegetable garden. I used flower pots as my raised beds aren't done yet. Then, seemed like every friend I saw gave me vegetable plants and starts. Now I have about 20 pots!!!!
( 2 tomato plants, 3 cucumber, 2 pumpkin, 6 red/purple cabbage, green onions, and red potatoes, cilantro and dill. Yippee!!

I stopped at a garage sale today. Bought a Japanese art piece for a friend. As I was leaving the garage sale host came running after me.!! She brought me a Japanese Style plate art piece... and said "here have this too, free your friend may like it." It was a very nice plate orange Japanese floral with gold in the body and edge.
