A little slower today. 🩷

Labor Day feels like a good reminder that sometimes it’s okay to put the work down for a minute — even when you love what you do.

We have a very busy season ahead at Sanctuary Floral & Events, with lots of flowers, celebrations and a few new experiences coming that we can’t wait to share with you. 👀💐

But for today, we’re enjoying the pause.

🌸 Our very first Fresh Pick Friday is in the books!

Thank you SO much to everyone who stopped in yesterday, picked their favorite blooms, and made a bouquet with us. We loved seeing what each of you created!

This was our very first flower bar here at the shop, and we’re already looking forward to doing it again. We learned a few things, have a few fun ideas to add for next time, and we have a feeling Fresh Pick Fridays are only going to get better. 🩷

Missed us yesterday? No worries. We’ll do it all over again next Friday. ☮️❤️🌸

When choosing flowers for a funeral or memorial service, most people are familiar with standing sprays and traditional arrangements—but there are so many beautiful ways to honor someone you love.

One of our favorites is the fireside basket.

Designed with height, movement, and an abundant garden-inspired feel, a fireside basket makes a beautiful statement beside the casket, near a memory table, or anywhere you’d like to add a meaningful floral tribute.

And because it’s designed in a basket rather than on an easel, it can easily be taken home by the family after the service to continue enjoying.

Our cooler is overflowing because tomorrow is our VERY FIRST Fresh Pick Friday.

Right now, these beauties are drinking, hydrating and getting ready for their big debut on the flower bar tomorrow morning.

And the best part? You get to decide what goes together.

Pick the flowers you love. Mix the colors that make you happy. Build a little bouquet or go big. There are no rules — just beautiful fresh flowers and a chance to create something that’s completely yours.

When you’re finished, we’ll wrap it up Sanctuary-style and send you home with your creation. 💕

🌸 A little more room to create…

Sanctuary Floral & Events will be closed to walk-in retail customers tomorrow morning (Thursday, 9/3) while we make some exciting changes behind the scenes to expand our design space.

As the shop continues to grow, so does the need for more room to create — and we’re so excited to finally make that happen!

We anticipate opening for walk-in shopping at 12:30 PM and will post an update if anything changes.

Every Friday, we’re opening up the flower bar and letting YOU be the florist.

Come in, browse that week’s selection of beautiful blooms, pick your favorites and build a bouquet that’s completely your own. We’ll have everything ready for you — you just get to have the fun. Once you’re finished, we’ll give your stems a fresh cut and wrap it up Sanctuary-style — with the beautiful finishing touches you know and love.

Not just a place to buy flowers—but a place that feels a little unexpected. A little magical. A place where creativity gets to run wild.
