Had a very cool moment last night while dj'ing at the Gatlinburg 4th of July parade. Just before the parade started.... I told all the people who could hear me
That "No matter where you come from, no matter who you are that they all matter and to keep on believing in their dreams until they become a reality"... then I
put on "Dont stop believing" by Journey.... Hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of parade goers held up their phones with the flashlights turned on and sang along with me... (like old school lighters at a concert) these people kept them waving in the air throughout the entire song on both sides of the street where i was....... it was awesome... a very sureal moment.... all of these people came together from all over the country in one spot...to celebrate.... .People of all different colors, religions, nationalities, sexual orientation and beliefs... and these people just had a good time.... for a moment they forgot everything that was outside of my speaker area and they found common ground... they found UNITY for at least 4 minutes and 10 seconds to sing, dance be joyfully patriotic and be simply amazing....i had people come up and ask me if they could hug me, i had 2 people come ask to hire me for their events and i just really enjoyed my evening..... I love doing what I do and I love The SMOKIES....
