Living Beautifully | Remember when we flipped instead of scrolled? 🤎

I’ve always loved magazines.

There’s something about sitting down with a cup of coffee and actually turning the pages. Dog-earing a recipe I want to make, studying a room I love, finding a little place in the South I’ve never been, or tearing out an idea I want to remember.

And somewhere along the way, I think I traded a lot of that for scrolling.

So lately, I’m bringing back the magazine stack and giving myself permission to sit for a minute.

Coffee hot. Phone down. Pages turning.

Around the Table | Soup Season 🍲🤎

The first hint of cooler weather and suddenly I’m ready for a pot of something warm simmering on the stove.

Lasagna soup, spicy tortellini, a really good chili, classic French onion soup and ranch potato soup. Five cozy recipes worth keeping on repeat all season long.

Add a loaf of crusty bread, pour a glass of wine, and call everyone to the table.

Save this one. Soup season is officially here. 🍂

Living Beautifully | Looking Beyond the Pumpkins 🤎

Fall doesn’t have to mean filling every corner with pumpkins.
For me, it’s about making home feel a little warmer. Creating warmth with woven textures, soft throws, branches from the yard, lamps turned on before sunset, candles burning and a table that makes you want to linger.

It’s less about decorating for a season and more about letting your home feel like the season.

Warm. Collected. Comfortable. Lived in.
That’s how I’m welcoming fall this year. 🍂

The Living Beautifully Book Club | August Recap 📖

There’s something about closing the laptop, putting the phone away, and feeling the pages of a paperback in your hands.
Reading has always felt like one of those small luxuries that asks us to slow down and somehow, in doing so, wakes something back up. New words. New thoughts. New ideas. A little more creativity.

This month I read Bread & Wine by Shauna Niequist, and it felt especially fitting for Living Beautifully. A gentle reminder of the beauty found around the table, in feeding people we love, lingering a little longer, and making something meaningful out of ordinary moments.

Apple cider cocktails, something warm from the oven, a few richer layers in the closet, slow mornings on the porch and Football Saturdays.

September is that sweet little in-between. Summer still lingering while fall quietly makes its way in.
