🔥 OUT NOW — “FIRE ON THE HILL” 🔥

Today, Grassy Creek Bluegrass Band releases “Fire on the Hill,” available everywhere now on Gravy Records.

Written by Brian Eversole, this song comes from a night he lived firsthand.

On November 28, 2016, Brian was serving as a Park Ranger with Great Smoky Mountains National Park, helping evacuate the park’s last remaining visitors and employees as catastrophic wildfires swept through the Smokies and toward Gatlinburg.

Through glowing skies, fierce winds, falling trees and burning embers, the song captures the fear and uncertainty of trying to find a way to safety as the fire closes in — and the hope and faith of making it through.

The banjo isn't limited to one genre.

On "Nothing Happens Here," the new instrumental single from Willow Osborne, now available everywhere now on Gravy Records, Willow explores the warmth and freedom of contemporary jazz through an instrument deeply rooted in Appalachian tradition.

Originally composed by Julian Lage, this interpretation showcases Willow's expressive banjo alongside an incredible ensemble featuring Jesse Blue Eads (guitar), Vincent Ilagan (upright bass), Taber Gable (piano), and Alonzo Lewis (drums). Together, they create a warm, intimate performance that lets the melody speak for itself.

Gravy Records is proud to announce the upcoming release of "Nothing Happens Here," the latest instrumental single from banjoist Willow Osborne. The track, originally composed by Julian Lage, will be available worldwide on August 21, 2026.

For Osborne, the decision to record "Nothing Happens Here" came from a genuine connection to the music.

“When I first heard Julian Lage's Nothing Happens Here, I thought it was one of the most inspirational and sonically perfect pieces of music I'd ever heard,” Osborne said. “It invoked a sense of peace and joy that just made my heart feel so happy and complete.”
