Gather ‘round, subjects!
Queen Shorty Shoshobeans graces thee with her annual proclamation:
May thy days be merry, thy treats plentiful, and thy tree upright for at least… oh, an hour.
’Tis the season of miracles, after all.

Furthermore, let it be known that my next royal holiday anthem hath dropped.

Hark! Hear The Kitties Sing!

Listen well, or ye shall face my most fearsome wrath: disappointed blinking.

A little kitten named Billie arrived at foster care with her eyes badly infected — she couldn’t see, but she still purred, made biscuits and rolled for belly rubs with all the joy she had. 🐾💙 Shortly afterwards, a young tabby named Theo joined the same rescue, recovering from leg injuries and carrying a gentle spirit of his own.

Billie was determined from day one: she figured out how to unzip a playpen and sneak in with Theo so they could be side by side. Theo, for his part, accepted her closeness and soon became her confident guide. Together they explored, played, and cuddled. 😊👫 Though one can’t see and the other walks a little funny, neither let their challenges stop them.

Today, they’re inseparable—tou-gether they soar with trust, affection, and heart-warming companionship. Their bond reminds us how even the smallest lives can carry huge love, and how friendship can transform the toughest beginnings into the brightest futures. ✨🐱

Previous research has suggested that domestic cats originated in the Levant and may have arrived in Europe as early as 9600 BC...
