When we were invited to Alaska we were stoked! Our good friend Doug showed us around Seward and what a pretty place. A week of time with friends, hiking, cooking out and picking blueberries 🫐🏔🥾

We wanted to give a quick update… we are currently in Amsterdam! Here we have enjoyed beautiful weather, amazing art 🖼 and exploring the city.

We plan on picking back up with videos this month. Thanks so much for all the messages and well wishes. We appreciate everyone following our story. Our next videos will be finishing the trek in Nepal, Greece and the Greek islands, Italy and Amsterdam.

If you've ever wondered what it is like to be completely immersed in the Himalayas - this video shows it. On the Three Passes Trek you hike to the tiny town of Dzonglha before you begin crossing your second pass. We traveled through the Khumbu Valley and brave a day of white out skies and snow. We start to log off for the day and the Mother Earth has another idea clearing the ALL of the clouds. I have never been so in awe of a landscape - Dzonglha is completely surrounded by massive peaks for sunset. ❄️🏔

The concept came to us exactly as the film starts, with us day dreaming about getting to the end of our quarantine. Luckily we had some sturdy suitcases and really cool apartment. This type of stop motion took much longer to shot then we thought it would but we were pretty excited with how our first attempt came out.

The snow just kept falling. There is nothing we could do about it. After discussing it with Jit, our guide, we decided it wasn't worth the risk to try to attempt Kongma La Pass. That meant we would have to back track down Imja Valley before heading back up the Khumbu Valley towards Everest Base Camp. And the snow just kept falling. . .

Shelley and I trek on to Dingboche and surpass the elevation on 14,500 ft. That is higher than any point in the contiguous United States.
