We, (Andy & Billy) have been lifelong fishing buddies seeking to turn our hobby into a full time dream entertaining and informing the world about what life is like for the Alaskan fisherman. We want to share stories, help educate new Anglers as we ourselves learn things, and laugh along the way doing it.

The season is right around the corner, and we’re starting to fill the calendar at Gwin’s Lodge.

Kenai River trout trips begin June 11th.
Early season is a great time to get out there — cool water, fewer crowds, and hungry rainbows and Dollies settling into summer patterns. These trips are perfect for anglers who enjoy light tackle, steady action, and spending a full day drifting one of Alaska’s most iconic rivers.

If you’re looking to start even sooner, we’re also booking Kasilof River king salmon and steelhead trips beginning May 15th. The Kasilof offers a different pace — backtrolling and working for powerful fish in a glacial system that fishes well early in the season.

Two different rivers. Two different experiences. Both solid ways to kick off your Alaska summer.
