RUSH recently returned to the stage in LA, kicking off their "Fifty Something" tour with their first show since 2015, and first since the 2020 death of Neil Peart. Anika Nilles filled in admirably behind the kit. Rush opened with 1977's 'Xanadu', for the first time ever.

Peter Frampton shared an update on his battle with the degenerative neuromuscular disease inclusion body myositis. He's using a cane and grabber tools around the house, and had to change the way he plays the guitar due to muscular weakness. But, he said: "I'm a very positive person...I know the endgame, but it doesn't bother me. My outlook on it is, 'That's life.'"

Pink Floyd's full version of 'Pigs on the Wing', previously only available on the 8-track release of 1977's "Animals", is now available via digital outlets and on YouTube. The original song was cut into 2 parts for Animals, with the full version linked by a guitar solo. The song appears on the new compilation album "8-Tracks" featuring 8 classics from 1971-79. LINK:

Stevie Nicks made a major donation to University of Southern California to help reach a $3 million fundraising goal for an endowed chair at the Keck School of Medicine at USC. It's to honor Dr. Joseph Sugerman, Nicks' longtime ear, nose and throat specialist. She credits him with keeping her legendary pipes healthy "Through late nights on the road, years of touring, (and) hours in the recording studio."

Kurt Cobain's Foxes T-shirt, famously worn during a 1993 band photo shoot with photographer and director Anton Corbijn, is up for sale through Julien's Auctions. The shirt was estimated to sell for between $4,000 and $6,000, though bidding is already over $8K. The listing ended Friday, May 28.

Following a long-running legal dispute with Soundgarden frontman's Chris Cornell's estate, guitarist Kim Thayil has revealed the surviving members of the band are nearing completion on the unreleased final recordings of the late singer. Kim quote: "It's important for the legacy of Soundgarden. It's important for the legacy of Chris Cornell. It is doing right by our collective work."

At 82-years-old Jagger has joined the cast of the upcoming movie "Three Incestuous Sisters". The gothic drama centers on 3 sisters living in a decaying house by the sea whose isolated existence is upended by the arrival of the young son of a lighthouse keeper. It also stars Josh O'Connor. Jagger will reportedly play his O'Connor's character's father.

Phil Collins won't be performing when he's inducted into the & Roll Hall of Fame on Nov. 15. Why not? Even though he is "healthier now" than he has been in "quite awhile," he's not quite "match fit". He explained: "You can't just go onstage...you're gonna have to rehearse...if you've not been singing (much lately), your voice is gonna be shot and then that's not gonna be good."

RUSH's Geddy Lee calls it a "supremely stupid idea" that the group is launching their "Fifty Something" reunion tour at the Forum in LA. The band wrapped its "R40 Live" tour there in 2015, their final show with drummer Neil Peart before his death in 2020. Geddy quote: "We're going to be so emotional already, that first show without Neil, and then to be in that building. What the (frig) was I thinking?"
