Paul McCartney's 2025 "Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run" will be released in paperback Oct. 6 with an added conversation between McCartney and director Morgan Neville. The interview was recorded to coincide with the documentary "Paul McCartney: Man on the Run", which hit Prime Video in February. LINK:

Rod Stewart has cancelled his remaining tour dates and Las Vegas residency after undergoing heart surgery. The 81-year-old's reps said in a statement: "Sir Rod Stewart has successfully undergone a routine coronary stent procedure. Doctors are pleased with his recovery, and Rod is doing very well and has returned to his normal daily activities." He's expected to be stage-ready in 4 weeks.

KISS' Gene Simmons & Paul Stanley threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Angel Stadium in Anaheim CA, when the LA Angels took on the KC Royals. The post announcing their appearance asks fans to "Be sure to stay after the game for a KISS-themed postgame fireworks show!"

Eurythmics guitarist Dave Stewart will release his new solo album "The Way It Was Back Then" on Sept. 18. Written, performed and produced entirely by Stewart, it'll be available as a limited, physical-only release on CD and vinyl. He calls it "an intimate, unfiltered album about memory, survival, love, loss, loyalty, and betrayal."

RUSH's upcoming documentary "Neil Peart: No One's Disciple" will have its world premiere at the 2026 Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 16 at the Princess of Wales Theatre. A press release says the film will explore "the artistry and enduring influence of Rush's enigmatic drummer and lyricist through rare archival footage, intimate reflections and extraordinary live performances."

Days after postponing a Canadian concert due to travel issues, Rod Stewart was forced to postpone a show at Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati due to "an unforeseen but minor medical procedure that required prompt attention." Hours before Sunday's showtime, a social media post from the venue said it had been postponed, but "Rod is expected to make a quick recovery and looks forward to returning to Cincinnati."

Rod Stewart's show in Cincinnati on Sunday (Aug. 9) was postponed at the last minute due to what the venue said was a "minor medical procedure."
