KISS' Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley's sons Nick Simmons and Evan Stanley have dropped their debut single with their project Stanley Simmons. ‘Body Down’ arrived with a lyric video on Friday. Instead of leaning into KISS-style theatrics, they are chasing the music they grew up loving: rootsy Americana. LINK:

Queen's Freddie Mercury’s debut solo album “Mr. Bad Guy” has been reissued for its 40th anniversary. To mark the occasion, his official YouTube channel dropped the first in a 3-part series dedicated to the release. Each episode includes clips from music videos for the album’s singles, and excerpts from a 1985 interview Mercury gave to promote the record. LINK:

Jack Osbourne, son of Ozzy Osbourne, and his wife Aree Gearhart shared they’re expecting their second child together, and Jack says his late father knew about the pregnancy before his death. Jack and Aree married in 2023 and welcomed their daughter Maple in July 2022.

The Beatles – are back — on the Billboard charts. “Anthology 4”, the new addition to the band’s Anthology series, which was recently reissued with 13 previously unreleased demos and recordings, landed in the top 10 on Billboard’s Top Albums Sales, Top Current Album Sales, Top Rock & Alternative Albums, Top Rock Albums, and Indie Store Album Sales charts.

Twisted Sister has announced the first American show of their 2026 reunion tour. They’ve booked a gig Sept. 4 at the Alaska State Fair in Palmer AK. In September, the band announced they’ll end a decade-long absence from the stage for a 50th anniversary tour, set to begin April 25 in Brazil. It’s possible they could schedule more US shows that would take place before the September show in Alaska.

Red Hot Chili Peppers' bassist, Flea, will release a solo album based on his love of the trumpet next year, complemented by “a dream band of modern jazz visionaries.” He just dropped the song ‘A Plea”. The vid shows him in a warehouse, dancing to a song that eventually finds him delivering spoken-word vocals about peace and building a bridge to mend the rifts in society. LINK:

The legendary jam band, Phish will return to the Sphere Las Vegas next spring for a 9-show residency, their second run at the high-tech venue. The group’s return to Vegas comes on the heels of tragedy. In September, a violent altercation outside one of the band’s Virginia shows left one person dead and 2 injured. LINK:

Foo Fighters – Jan, 14, they’ll play a benefit show at LA’s Kia Forum, in support of the nonprofits Hope the Mission and the Los Angeles Mission. Rolling Stones – While they enjoyed some downtime this year, Ronnie Wood celebrated his 50th year with the group by creating portraits of the members of the band, including the late Charlie Watts, that he’s dubbed the “Paint It Black” series. Elton John isn’t touring anymore, but he hasn’t stopped playing live. Not only has he done 11 private shows this year, he’ll headline the Rock in Rio festival in Brazil on Sept. 7. He’s also working on a new, “more commercial” album with lyricist Bernie Taupin, and the new tunes are “really, really good.” .... like they'd admit it if they sucked!?
