Statement from Agents and Managers to Casting Networks

🚨 Important update for our actors and industry partners:

As of today, Casting Networks has announced a new subscription model requiring agencies to pay $550/month to continue submitting talent for projects.

This marks the first time in Casting Networks’ history that agents are being charged to represent their clients on the platform. The change was implemented with little notice, and the pricing is reportedly based on “roster size,” though no transparent structure has been provided to agencies.

For smaller or boutique agencies, this fee is significant — and it risks limiting opportunities for many hardworking actors who rely on representation to access casting calls.

We’re hopeful Casting Networks will reconsider this structure and open a genuine dialogue with the agencies and talent who help make their platform successful.

In the meantime, we encourage our colleagues and clients to stay informed, ask questions, and advocate for fair, transparent business practices across the industry.

We are currently seeking a part-time Agent Assistant based in Ohio to join our team. This is a remote position with a flexible schedule!

If you're passionate about the entertainment industry and ready to support a growing roster of talent—this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Responsibilities include:
– Organizing and coordinating casting calls
– Reviewing auditions and submissions
– Organizing and updating talent materials
– Providing general administrative support to the lead agent

Ideal candidates will be:
– Highly organized
– Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital platforms
– Reliable and self-motivated
– Strong communicators, both written and verbal

Although no entertainment industry experience is required, an interest in film, tv, theatre, modeling, or acting is a plus.
