The early morning view from my 13 year old son’s bedroom window in our new apartment in Horsholm, Denmark.
When we moved in two months ago he couldn’t understand why I would constantly stop and enjoy the view. One side of the apartment faces east and has incredible sunrises, the other side - which I will show you all another time - faces west and must have the most amazing view from any place I have ever lived in and even though our new home is the smallest I have ever lived in, the view sure makes up for that.
When I drove my son to his football training shortly after this photo was taken, all of a sudden he commented on how beautiful the trees looked with snow on, so my focus on enjoying the view and landscapes must somehow have rubbed off on him 🙂 one day he might even join this group!

I live in a tiny village called Carron in the north of Scotland. I've lived here 14 years. This is the view from my window. It was just a plot of ground with 17 trees when we bought it so we lived in a caravan for a year while my husband built us a house. In my view I see trees that are just turning to Autumn colours. So many leaves everywhere just now. I see the rickety wicker garden set bought from an auction and my trusty car which is essential living in the middle of nowhere. I live on the Scottish whisky trail and there are distilleries all around. I have Ben Rinnes and the river Spey right next door. It's the fastest flowing river in Scotland. I've climbed Ben Rinnes a lot but its just short of being a Munro which is a mountain over 3000ft in Scotland. This is out of my kitchen window and I like that I can be cooking dinner and watching for my family members coming up the drive.
Love seeing everyone's views and glad I joined this group.

Before coming to Pakistan from the US I had so many misguided preconceived notion’s about it. It was meant to be a short stay but I’ve made it my permanent home. We live in a newly developed area just 10 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city. We’ve made a big lawn because we love to entertain. ❤️

Like many of you, I grew up extremely poor and am so thankful for the blessings in my life. Several years ago my job was moved to another state and rather than taking a different position we decided it was time to sell “the big house” and move to our little cottage on the water. This is now my view outside my kitchen window and my daily visitor, Mooch. I enjoy spending more time with my grandkids than I ever got to spend with my children because of my career. We really enjoy living on the water and will do so the rest of our lives. Thanks for all your wonderful stories and this amazing non-judge mental group. Hello to all of you from Inverness, Fl, USA.
