24 years ago today, the world changed forever…

What began as an ordinary morning turned into one of the darkest days in our history…

246 people boarded their morning flights…
2,606 people went to work in the Twin Towers…
343 firefighters began their shifts…
60 police officers set out on patrol…
8 paramedics started their day…

and none of them saw past 10 am on September 11, 2001.

Nearly 3,000 lives were stolen that day. And millions more were forever changed.

We remember their names.
We honor their courage.
And we carry their memory with us always.

We will never forget.

Prayer vigils were held across the country tonight, here are two… Nick Busse who attended the vigil at the California State Capitol and here in Redding at City Hall. It was great to have our communities come together, pray, worship, celebrate someone who stood so firmly for what he believed in and grieve. Many spoke of the impact he had, thank you everyone who participated in all the events. Please keep his loved ones and those in attendance today at this tragic event in your prayers.
