In 2011 Mrs. Davis along with the Presentation Sisters decided to form a group that brought together women in the community that wanted to felllowship, do crafts, provide community service, and support the community of Shaw. This group would later become known as The Active Ladies of Shaw
Mrs. Davis was very involved with The Active Ladies by way of coordinating events and documented all the time they spent together through pictures, she even maintained a close relationship with the Presentation Sisters even once they retired.
As a founding member of the Active Ladies of Shaw, she played a pivotal role in uniting women and fostering a spirit of camaraderie and service. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the countless memories she created.
Even when her health began to decline she still found ways to show her love and support toward The Active Ladies and her community, weather it was sending sweet treats to The Active Ladies or goodies for the kids during Easter. Her love for everyone she came in contact with was known.
We would like to send our heartfelt sympathy to Mrs. Charlene Gray who is still active with ALOS and the beloved sister of Mrs. Davis and to let her know that she is loved and supported.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the knowledge that her love, legacy, and impact will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew her. Rest in love, Mrs. Earlene Davis.
