Tournament Bracket Update: Monday’s first-round games feature divisional contests. The four winners will face a cross-divisional opponent for the first time all season in Wednesday’s quarterfinal round.

The advancing four teams will square off on Friday with the two remaining teams meeting on the higher seed’s home floor on Sunday.

With the 2021 Great American Conference basketball regular season complete, the league announced the brackets and schedules for the GAC Women’s and Men’s Championships. The event begins Monday from seven on-campus locations.

RECAP: SWOSU received a combined 60 points from Makyra Tramble, Bethany Franks, Taber Beer and Lauren Ramey, with each player hitting three three-pointers and scoring in double figures.

Tramble recorded a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.

The Great American Conference Western Division Champion SWOSU Lady Bulldogs finished out the regular season on Saturday with an 85-71 victory at Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee. The win is the fifth consecutive for the 19th-ranked Lady Dawgs, who close out the regular season with a record of 16-2.

Wrestling immortality.

In an all day affair, Bethel's TJ Ramsey scrapped to a third place finish in the 170-lb. division of the 2021 OSSAA State Wrestling Tournament Saturday. Ramsey won an 8-5 decision over Comanche's Kaden VanBuskirk in the medal round.

Dezmen Loving came up just short in the third place match, falling to Comanche's Lake Epperson 5-4.

Bethel's TJ Ramsey and Dezmen Loving earned medals at the 2021 OSSAA 3A State Wrestling Tournament.

The win gives Jason Eaker's squad 14 wins and an already secured No. 1 seed in the GAC conference tournament.
