Don't Wait for the Vote. Bring the Arts to Them!

The best way to get a policymaker to understand the importance of the arts is to show them. Seeing a student’s creativity, an artist’s passion, and a community’s engagement tells the other half of the story that data can't capture. It personalizes the issue and shows them the importance of it in their community.

Make a personal connection, invite a lawmaker to your next arts event!

Yesterday evening was such a great time sitting down to interview Liberty and Maggie. Unfortunately, there was a concert going on that we were not prepared for. I'm hoping the recording turned out workable, however, I know I will have some editing to do. If it works, you all should be able to hear from the girls this weekend. If not, we will be scheduling a time to redo the interview...in a place a little quieter perhaps, LOL.
