Showers of Hope will be in Sheboygan on Friday, September 26th, to offer showers, haircuts and lunch. Showers are wheelchair and handicap accessible. They will be at St. Luke's Church from 11:00a.m. until 1:00p.m.

Do you know me? I was found on 8/5/2025 near Michigan Avenue in Sheboygan. HSSC is trying to reunite me with my home and family so please SHARE this post! My reference numbers are: C25-08-0889.

If I am part of your family or you have more info on me, please call our shelter at 920-458-2012 and press 0 when the auto attendant answers for reclaims or email [email protected]. Reclaims occur daily from 10 am to 4 pm. Please leave a message. If we do not answer, we will get back to you. Each morning we are admitting multiple stray animals that came into our care, so please be patient, your pet is safe and we will get you reunited.

Today, Citizens Advocate is heartbroken to learn that 4 homeless individuals have recieved citations for sleeping on the beach of a public park. While we agree that cities have ordinances, we feel that a little empathy goes a long way. Business owners, city officials, home owners, land developers and other organizations are currently grasping at straws for answers to this growing challenge for all those impacted. There is no fix-all answer.

Sheboygan county, as well as several other counties, have a very vast amount of individuals who struggle to find affordable, stable homes. Any individual (s) can experience homelessness due to any number of reasons. It is not simply a challenge of income, but of displacement due to health, natural disasters, properties being sold, etc.

Our page is all about awareness as well as alerts and inspiration.

At this time, Citizens Advocate is interested in sharing awareness that homeless individuals face.

Knowledge, is indeed power.

Officers need to speak to the individual on the scooter. They appear to have multiple tattoos and were last seen in the area of N 9th Street and Superior Avenue.
