Blown away by the support of this community so far. It's so comforting to know that this story resonates with so many people, and I've learned that most everyone that comes across our campaign has a Dementia story of their own to share. It's not shocking that we're already 40% funded when you think about it like that!

Maureen, one half of our "Sophia" in this story, was my first choice for this role as I was conceptualizing the film. We had many discussions about how personal this subject matter was to each of us, so I was thrilled when she agreed to come on board! Here is a quick message from Maureen about the film!

Our Seed&Spark campaign for Five More Minutes was highlighted by Dementia Spring!

We could not be more thankful to have the support of so many who want to shed light on living with Dementia and the struggles that the disease brings on those who live with it and their caretakers. We hope to make a film that we can all be proud to be a part of!

Five More Minutes is a fantasy short film exploring the mind and memories of a woman living with late stage Dementia. Born from personal experience - this story is a hopeful exploration of the late stages of this disease, influenced by the family fantasy films of the 90’s and 2000’s.

It's been a week since we've launched, and Five More Minutes is 30% funded! Thank you so much to everyone who has pledged to partner with us on this journey!

One way we hope to tug at everyone's heartstrings is with an emotionally charged original score, graciously provided by the one and only Joey O'Connor! Joey has been lending us his talents on short films for years now, and he never fails to amaze us with the beauty and wonder he creates with his music.
