I went to A Wade House Christmas last night, and it was so cozy and fun 🎅🏼✨

We stepped back in time to the 1850s for a holiday celebration. Candles were glowing on the tree, classic treats, live music and all the little details that make it truly feel like you’ve gone back in time.

We wandered past Horse-Drawn Carriages and through the Stagecoach Inn, watched ornaments being made in the blacksmith shop, and soaked in all the festive vibes. They even had a live reading of ’Twas the Night Before Christmas and photo ops with Victorian-style Father Christmas 🥹🎄

Even though this Christmas event is over, I highly recommend planning a visit to the Wade House. It’s such a special place year-round and totally worth adding to your Wisconsin day-trip list ❤️

The Gingerbread Festival was so cute✨🍬☃️

If you need a little holiday magic, head over to the Waelderhaus in Kohler. It goes until Dec 30th and the entire place is filled with the cutest, most creative gingerbread displays you can imagine. This was my first time going and I loved it 😍 Wander around for free and vote for your favorites!

Wreath-Making at Caan's🌲✨

If you are looking for a fun way to kick off the holiday season you might want to check out some of the classes being offered at Caan Floral & Greenhouses. I took this class last year and I’m hoping to do it again this year so my front door looks festive. They set us up in the greenhouse surrounded by fresh balsam, pinecones, berries, and ribbons. The instructor walked us through everything, and by the end my wreath turned out cute. I thought it would look like a hot mess, but luckily I was wrong haha.

From handcrafted burgers to soups, salads and cocktails that feel like a treat. You’ll definitely be able to taste the love after every bite.

I love ordering their Hangover Burger. It’s juicy, messy, and simply delicious. Their artichoke dip is a must-order starter… though their Thai nachos are also a solid option if you’re in the mood to share. And of course… I had to try the blueberry mojito. SO refreshing. It’s like summer in a glass. 🫐✨

If you are needing a date night, girls’ night, or wanting to treat-yourself to a fun evening I definitely recommend Urbane.
