I think we always look at short wheel base as a advantage for off roading, or at least I always have. I think this was one of the first times our team found out that it pays to have a slightly longer wheelbase. Problem solved! just sold his 2 door Jeep and traded it in for a 4runner. What’s your thoughts on that upgrade?

Camp now setups in 30 seconds and getting to camp late after a day of trails is no longer a chore. We always aim to get to camp with light to spare but some how it never happens 😂

3/3 Drawer System Build:
Finally we have the drawers. Organization is something that can make or break a trip. When I decided to start making the drawers I knew I had to have a place for the kitchen things I always brought on a trip. First was the stove. I decided on a OneGas stove. These put out a ton of heat, while still allowing a lot of adjustability. Can run on butane or propane, and are affordable to replace. Next was finding a place for spices so I made a simple spice rack. Leaving just enough room for my propane hose and pots and pans. The other main drawer is used as a pantry. The system allows us 2 weeks of food, without the need of stopping for supplies and yes we have packed 2 weeks of food in this setup multiple times.

2/3 Drawer System Build
From the last photos it’s pretty clear that I built the entirety of this build step by step, and in the Jeep. Everything was shaped and molded to fit. After the base was completely, I decided to raptor line the entirety of system. At this point I added a Amazon 6 gang switch panel to the passenger side cubby for the rear light and to keep an eye on my battery voltage, since my fridge runs mostly while the Jeep is off.
