A MESSAGE FROM BRADLEY WALKER
I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! It’s so hard to believe we’re less than a week away from once again celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Please take time to slow down and remember just what this beautiful season is all about.
I also want to take this time to ask for your prayers as we get ready to begin a new year. Many years ago I was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease, a hereditary disease where cysts form on your kidneys and eventually affect your overall kidney function. About six months ago I was told that the time had come to start preparing for eventual kidney dialysis. I’ve always known this would be in my future, just didn’t realize it would come this soon.
This week a successful procedure was done to place the dialysis port, so that I can heal and be ready for whenever treatment begins. My daily treatments will be done at home, and the best news is that treatments can also take place on the road.
As part of this process, I’m also scheduled to be evaluated in February for the possibility of a kidney transplant. Once approved, our prayer is that the Lord will provide a kidney, so that dialysis is only temporary.
I share this news to ask for your prayers in the coming weeks and months, as my family and I start to navigate uncharted waters. I plan to maintain my normal tour schedule of solo dates as well as dates with Brothers of the Heart. We have 10 Brothers dates on the books for 2026, with plans for more, as well as plans for a new solo recording and a new Brothers recording…or two.
I feel great, and the Lord continues to bless my life in ways far beyond my imagination. My prayer is that He will be glorified through this trial, and I know that with your prayers and His help, everything will be just fine!
Thank you for your overwhelming love and support, and may God Bless You All!
Bradley
