BID FOR MARION SCHOOL PROPERTY BREACHES HALF A MILLION

Just today, a new bid was placed at just over $508K for the Marion School property in Shelby.

In what seems to be a three way battle between the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Association, Jerry Allen, and One More One less, the Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Association has once again placed the latest upset bid and reset the auction end for another ten days out.

The Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Association (EMBA) is a coalition of 43 churches across 6 counties in Western North Carolina. In a comment addressing the sale, Reverend Melvin Clark stated that “The Ebenezer Baptist Association is interested in the property and would preserve the school in its current state with minor alterations. Pray for us as we journey to secure the school. We are a non profit and seek to establish space to conduct community engagements for our youth and seniors.”
