🇺🇸 25 Years Later. Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago, I was in my last semester of college, preparing for the next chapter of my life and hoping to find my first job as a news reporter.

I remember watching the events of September 11 unfold on television, almost unable to comprehend what I was seeing. As an aspiring journalist, part of me wished I could be in the middle of it all—gathering information, asking questions and helping tell the stories of what was happening.

At 21, I don't think I could fully comprehend the magnitude of that day.

This morning, as I listened to recaps on the radio marking 25 years since September 11, my heart sank all over again—but from a very different perspective.

Today, I think about the people who were there. The families who lost someone they loved. The survivors who carry memories most of us can never fully understand. The first responders who ran toward danger. And all those whose lives were forever divided into before September 11 and after September 11.

Twenty-five years may have passed, but I feel certain the grief, pain and memories are still incredibly real—and sometimes very raw—for so many.

One thing I remember clearly about the days that followed was how our country came together. We checked on one another. We helped one another. We prayed for one another. We were simply Americans.

Maybe today can remind us of that, too.

May we remember those we lost. May we honor those who served and sacrificed. And may we find a little more compassion, kindness and unity—not only today, but in the days ahead.

My business email address was spoofed, meaning someone made the email look like it came from my address even though I did not send it. At this time, there is no indication that anyone accessed my actual email account.

⚠️ If you receive an unexpected email from me asking you to open a shared Adobe document, please DO NOT click the link. Report the email as phishing and delete it.

I’m incredibly grateful to have clients, friends and community members who pay attention and look out for me and my business.
