Can’t believe it’s already August, what a whirlwind year! - Speaking of a “whirlwind”, we’ve had something like that hit the top of our charts this cycle! A big Congratulations to Nicole Norton/”Wounds for moving into the #1 position here on God’s Music Today’s Top 40! This is Nicole Norton’s third #1 song (“Don’t You Dare Give Up” & ”You Never Fail”) here on God’s Music Today! – Nicole Norton / ”Wounds” also swept the “Top Takes” this cycle including: “Top Total Votes”, “Top Domestic Vote”, “Top International Vote” & “Top Commented” – The votes were very close again this charting period, we had a surge in international votes which helped to pushed Nicole‘s “Wounds” over the top. Again, congrats Nicole for moving hearts through Christ! This is due to four excellent (& #1 worthy) songs (Limitless”, “More Like You”, “Count It All Joy” & “Wonderful God”) being released close together & causing the votes to be divided up, so much so that “More Like You” which entered at #40 last cycle fell off the chart, it will be back I’m sure, but it’s frustrating for us as well! It’s all about numbers, so please refrain from unpleasant emails (lol) it’s also a good time to remind everyone you can vote for more than one song on one vote, but you can only vote once in the charting cycle… read the instructions so your vote(s) will count. – Caleb & John feat: Steven Curtis Chapman / “Proud” jumped +3-points to the #4 position landing in a great spot to leap forward – Speaking of forward momentum, Aaron Justice/”Strength Of A Survivor” certainly has momentum as he takes the #5 position also putting him in the perfect position for an upward jump!
