With much of the 2026 wrestling season still to come, Wood River senior Jace Martin has reached his 150th win on the mat at the Wood River Duals last Saturday, January 3.

Isaac Anderson was a troublemaker — “the kid parents told their children to stay away from.”
That’s how he describes his younger self.
College wasn’t part of the plan then. And he definitely didn’t expect to be standing at a podium, representing more than 300 students graduating from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

Duo of early settlers began Shelton business in late 1800s

Among the many businessmen who arrived in Shelton
in the late 1800s and early 1900s to open businesses was John S. Hedges and D. P. Junk who operated the Hedges & Junk Grain, Lumber and Coal business. An undated, black and white photo in the Clipper archives shows the Hedges & Junk store to have been just north of the railroad tracks on Shelton’s C Street.
