A Battling of Continents officially broke 200,000 words!

Well, we're actually closer to 220,000 at this point. 🤣

In the spirit of Realm Breaker rank progressions, this is worth celebrating! It means you're getting lots of content ahead in this next book.

I would NOT say it's a celebration if this manuscript ends up breaking the next "ranks" of 225K and 250K.

Let's hope we don't get there... but when characters go rogue and break things, you can never know. 😂

It’s HUGE reveal time!

As we creep ever closer to A Battling of Continent’s launch on August 6th, it’s time to drop some info on Realm Breaker 5.

The fifth book won’t be on preorder after book four’s launch this time. I’m going to take the time I need to complete it. So, that leaves us with what the title will be.

A BLOODING OF THRONES! 👑🩸🔥

A Blooding of Thrones serves as the gritty finale of Realm Breaker: Part One, which has spanned five books following Skalda’s ascension (and uncertain success) to Queen of Elondria.

Three more books will follow as the closing “trilogy” to wrap up the larger conflict that has lurked in the shadows through the other books. We’ll focus a lot more on The Fallen, the shattered worlds and lore above Midgaard, and Skalda’s mysterious past.

The Reign of Dragons hardcover sample came in, and… 😭😭.

I’m so proud to have had a hand in producing two such gorgeous books, and all within the span of six months.

So many things about this author journey are breathtaking—you can produce anything you want, limited only by your imagination.

Thanks to our INCREDIBLE readers, backers, supporters, artists, and participating authors, “RoD: The Anthology” was just another dream, inconceivable when I was a teen, but made possible in 2025.

As Walt Disney said: “Whatever the mind can conceive, it can achieve.”

It’s official… the Dragonfyre Bookstore officially hit 100 orders! 🎉

Thank you so much to everyone who believed in buying direct and gave it a shot.

It’s mind boggling to think that just a year ago, I was squirming my way through figuring out how to open my Shopify store.

That’s right—a year ago, this special space didn’t even exist.

It’s been so much fun getting to personalize orders and hand-write thank you’s in books and branded cards.

Y’all have made me realize how much I actually love fulfillment—not besides giving me a crash course on box sizes and thermal label printers lol!

As a big thank you, I will be celebrating with a special giveaway that might just involve a special edition. 👀

But let’s focus on our upcoming launch first, and then we can take a breather for all the celebrations this August!

Have you ever felt this intense tug-of-war between two important choices you can’t decide on?

It’s like, the heart is BEGGING you to “do THE thing,” but your mind is insisting you play small to keep the stability.

Why toss a comfy life out the window for a new life you can’t predict?

But here’s what I found out, especially when I researched the bizarre grief I felt abandoning the comfy old and plunging into the terrifying new…

Ditching a stable living for the calling in your gut DOES NOT MEAN you are lazy.

Or reckless.

It DOES mean your soul is quite possibly daring you to expand. That it’s time. That strangers out there are waiting for you to reach them, and impact them in ways you can’t even imagine yet.

What’s on the other side?

That’s the ultimate adventure for you and the world to find out. 😉

And it’s official… A Battling of Continents (Realm Breaker 4) is launching this August 6th!

With being about halfway through the series, what can you expect?

Consider A Battling of Continents the “penultimate season” of Realm Breaker: Part One.

What does that mean?

The series is ultimately planned for 8 books. The first five follow Skalda’s progression from commoner to Queen of Elondria (and we’ll find out whether she succeeds…).

The last three are a trilogy that wraps up the overarching conflict we’ve been building since book one - the faolrun, Bale’s falling terrors, what (or “who”) hatched him, Skalda’s mysterious affinity for magic, and ultimately, whether they can make it as “dragon and rider” when she has a mature Realm-Breaker on her hands.

Within “Part I,” A Breaking of Realms and A Banishing of Kings were really just the opening act. A Building of Empires was the middle act.

That makes A Battling of Continents and Realm Breaker 5 the closing act, and thus, Realm Breaker 4 as a sort of “penultimate season.”

I love how Realm Breaker 4 is progressing. The bond between her and Baelaeryx grows darker, but also much deeper of heart.

What if your dragon was the last breaker of worlds from a higher world, hated by all the elves—and he bonds you to make you his Queen? 👀

We are on track for a summer release, though it’s going to be tight!

This is just a taste of what your author career can turn into. 😉

Five years ago, no one cared about me or my books. Even when I poured in everything, it was just crickets.

But I was dedicated to keep growing and learning no matter what.

This photo is just a FEW of the direct sales orders that have been pouring in.

Sometimes when I stop to pause, it’s so surreal when I hear from readers that they’d spend a bunch of 💸 to get signed books from me, because that’s how much it means to them.

THANK YOU, my dear readers. You are my bread and butter, the joy of my heart above all.

I am committed to over delivering to the best of my ability to return that trust you place in me.
